ANZLIC Metadata Entry Tool

In response to spatial information industry needs, QSIC in 2003, developed a suite of metadata entry tools.  These are no longer available as they are only compliant with ANZLIC Metadata Guidelines version 2 (February 2001).

In 2007, ANZLIC released an Australian version (ANZLIC Metadata Profile version 1.1) of the international metadata standard ISO 19115.

ANZLIC have released a new Metadata Entry Tool application that allows the creation, update and validation of metadata records. This application supports the ANZLIC Metadata Profile Version 1.1 and is based on GeoNetwork open source software, and further developed by the BlueNet Project.

QSIC will provide further details of any new ISO compliant metadata entry tools as they become available.
