Inside QSIC
The QSIC concept was born in 1991 as the Queensland Land Information Council (QLIC). This was replaced in 1997 by the Queensland Spatial Information Infrastructure Council (QSIIC) and in 2005 became known as the Queensland Spatial Information Council (QSIC).
The objective of QSIC is the efficient and effective development and maintenance of Queensland's spatial information framework, which contributes significantly to the State's economic and social development.
