Spatial Innovations Queensland
'a proposed collaborative research & development initiative for Queensland'

The Spatial Innovations Queensland (SIQ) project aims to facilitate a collaborative and coordinated approach to spatial information industry research and development activities in Queensland.

In July 2006, a seminar and workshop were hosted by QSIC which helped shape the SIQ initiative. Access the details from the seminar presentations and workshop outcomes.

In September 2008 QSIC coordinated another seminar based on 'Advancing Queensland's Spatial Research, Innovation and Development'.  Access the seminar presentations.

To support SIQ, the QSIC coordinates a QSIC Working Group that brings together key stakeholders from all sectors of the industry, including Queensland universities.
